In Las Vegas, when you hear the name Scinta you likely think of The Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown. The Scintas, who just resigned a new two-year engagement contract at The Plaza have been wowing audiences in Las Vegas since 2000 with their old school lounge act that combines comedy and musical impersonations. Called a Vegas institution by many, theirs has become one of the town’s must-see shows. This family act has been going strong since its founding members who are siblings, started performing as kids in Buffalo, New York.
It is Frank Scinta Jr.’s dad – called the “soul of the Scintas” – who founded the group and has been its stalwart for years. So Frank Jr. knows show business! And while he traveled and was “on the road” all throughout his youth with his dad and supremely talented family members, Frank Jr. has never had a desire to perform on stage.
He’s a family man and a businessman, and he and his family are happy to enjoy the quieter side of Las Vegas, right outside of Summerlin in their brand new home at Ridgehaven by Warmington Residential in the southwest.
Frank Jr. moved to Las Vegas with his family in 2000 from Buffalo, New York, his hometown and one that he still misses, albeit less now since moving into his new home this past June with his wife, Dominique, and their two children, 6-year-old Frankie, and 2 and a half-year-old Charlee.
“My memories growing up in Buffalo are of neighborhoods, and friends and block parties,” said Frank Jr. “I feel so happy to have found that sense of community again for my own family here at Ridgehaven.”
He said that he really loves that about his new neighborhood. But when he and Dominique set out to find their perfect home, the number one goal was to find something large enough for a family, near good schools. They definitely wanted new, preferably in a small neighborhood where there was a chance to once again enjoy a close-knit setting.
When they discovered Ridgehaven, he said it all fell into place. They chose the Plan 3, the largest home with nearly 2,400 square feet of space, up to five bedrooms, and four bathrooms. Frank said the biggest selling point for Dominique was the very nice kitchen with tons of white cabinets and a huge center island. They both loved the location near Summerlin, the intimate community setting and how close they’d be to good schools.
Las Vegas has definitely become the new Scinta hometown. And while Buffalo, New York may always live in their hearts, Frank Jr. said that Las Vegas has proven it has got heart. They all finally feel at home, on and off the stage.

When Ben and Jessica Reber visited Warmington’s Ridgehaven community, they knew they were home. The beautiful model home they toured was within their budget and the perfect size for the new family of four, inside and out. Plus, the idyllic gated community, which is located in Southwest Las Vegas, is in the area they wanted to live in.
“It all just worked out perfectly,” said Jessica.
The Rebers moved in to their brand-new home on March 1, 2016, which they share with a teenage son and daughter. Not only was it their first home as a couple, the Rebers were one of the first residents to move into the family-friendly community.
The couple chose the Hillcrest, Plan 3 at Ridgehaven, which is the most spacious home available. At approximately 2,393 sq. ft., the two-story home has three bedrooms – two upstairs and one downstairs – and three baths, and also offers a covered patio and two-space garage.
The outside of the home is brown stucco with brick and a Spanish tile roof, which blends seamlessly into the surrounding desert landscape. The inside is impeccably-designed with granite countertops and dark espresso cabinetry in the kitchen, and hardwood laminate flooring the couple chose, which “came out beautifully,” Jessica said.
Green-living and energy conservation is important to Warmington, and each home in the Ridgehaven community is equipped with energy-efficient appliances. The Rebers’ home included a stainless-steel GE Profile refrigerator.
The driveway and patio feature paving stones instead of a solid concrete slab, which was an included upgrade.
“It looks upscale and classy and adds a lot of character to the home,” said Jessica.
The couple also chose the optional upstairs loft, which is their family room where they watch movies on their large screen TV and play games. The home also features spacious ceilings, which reach approximately 12-feet high.
Another perk of living at Ridgehaven, Jessica says, is living close enough to the 215 Beltway to be convenient, but far enough away to not hear the traffic. The family also likes living within walking distance of the new and exciting The Gramercy, a luxury urban village that combines luxury highrise residences, apartments, beautiful light-filled lofts, Class A office space, amenity-filled courtyards, and high-end retail including restaurants, a coffee shop, a nail salon and a gym.

Raymond Eng, sales representative at Warmington at Northern Terrace in Providence, was named Sales Person of the Year-Under $249,000 category for his outstanding and impressive sales achievements over the past year. The award was presented on Saturday, March 29, during the Silver Nugget Awards ceremony in Las Vegas.
With 81 net sales for the year, Raymond Eng achieved an average per-month sales pace of 6.75 in a market were the running average is closer to 4 per-month, per two-person team. He also closed an average of 8 homes per month for the year. He closed 97 homes in 2013 representing a sales volume of $18,370,776.
The 2014 Inaugural Silver Nugget Awards program is hosted by The Las Vegas Review-Journal, in partnership with the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association. Winners were chosen from 43 categories covering, architecture, interior design, floor plans and sales and marketing.
